Something evil and ominious happened between the last line of chapters 2 and the first line of chapter 3 in Genesis. When God concluded his Creation, He said, "It is very good." Then chapter 3 opens with the serpent tempting Eve in the Garden of Eden. Evil was now in God's perfect Creation. What happened?
